AIA Miami Honors Best of Architecture During 2020 Virtual Design Awards Gala

The annual AIA Miami Design Awards is intended to encourage excellence in architecture, elevate public consciousness of good design, and recognize those architects whose work enriches our environment. These awards recognize outstanding architectural projects, both built and unbuilt, that exemplify excellence in design while exploring nature and science of the profession.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 awards gala could not be held in person, but the tradition was continued online. During the virtual event, professional bartenders taught attendees how to make signature drinks, while a chef guided viewers on how to make their own Flaming Bananas Foster.

Following are this year’s winners!
