Saladino Design Studios’ Red Rooster Overtown Featured in Ocean Drive

Miami’s most buzzed-about new restaurant was designed by our client, Saladino Design Studios. Can you guess which one? That’s right!  Located in Miami’s historic Overtown neighborhood, Red Rooster was featured in the latest issue of Ocean Drive. The creative team at Saladino, worked with the acclaimed Chef Marcus Samuelsson to design the restaurant’s second U.S. location.

Red Rooster Overtown aims to revive “a spirit of celebration”. The new 13,000-square-foot setting was curated as a multifaceted gathering space offering a variety of experiences that reference both the history of the building, as well as the surrounding neighborhood.

Saladino Design Studios aims to echo the vibe of the venue during its lively era throughout the two-story restaurant with eclectic influences such as tropical colors, modern murals, handmade Moroccan titles, cheetah prints, and an abundance of art.

Saladino Design Studios worked with owners to expand the experience beyond the expected with approachable elements for the people of every walk of life.

Saladino Design Studios-Designed SuViche Doral Featured in Interior Design

Saladino Design Studios’ design of the new SuViche Doral appeared in Interior Design’s New & Noteworthy: 4 Artful Updates story.

The 3,800 square-foot SuViche restaurant in Miami’s popular CityPlace Doral, is the brand’s unveiling of its new concept designed by Saladino Design Studios. The design of the award-winning Peruvian-influenced Japanese restaurant concept by SuViche Hospitality Group was inspired by the vibrant colors of traditional Peruvian materials and fabrics blended with Miami’s tropical environment.

The whimsical interiors boast vibrant Peruvian colors, playful swinging chairs,  macramé rope art mural, Pisco bar and “Let’s Get Saucy” floral and moss graffiti wall.

Miami’s Inaugural Hospitality Design Awards

Oberhausen Marketing & Public Relations, alongside AIA Miami and the Greater Miami & The Beaches Hotel Association (GMBHA), is now accepting entries for the inaugural Miami Hospitality Design Awards. Project owners and licensed architects and designers from anywhere in the world with hospitality projects located in Miami-Dade County completed between January 1, 2014, to December 31, 2016, are invited to enter through January 20, 2017.

In recent years, Miami has experienced unprecedented growth in the hospitality sector. Supported by some of the world’s leading brands and through the work of their architecture and design partners, they have unleashed the most significant, visionary hospitality built environments in the country.

“The awards will showcase excellence in architecture, elevate public consciousness of great design, and recognize those architects, designers, construction partners and hospitality venues whose work enriches our built environment,” said Cheryl Jacobs, Executive Vice President, AIA Miami.

“With our support and that of AIA Miami, Oberhausen Marketing & PR and Hospitality Design magazine, the awards will recognize the wonderful diversity and design excellence that continues to put Miami’s hospitality industry on the world map,” said Wendy Kallergis, President and CEO, GMBHA.

Hospitality projects include hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, lounges and bars.

Winners will be announced during a grand event on March 6, 2017, at the world-renowned Faena Forum in Miami Beach.
